Hello. I know that it's been almost a decade since the anime, and I'm really late for that, but I have been wondering whether there is any chance that the songs still "exist" somewhere.

I'm referring primarily to the Japanese versions, but English ones would be nice as well.

Sora Ga Mieru Kara is what I would love to get the most.

Anyone has any idea, as to who would be the best person/company to contact in this case? I can't believe that such great songs have never been released on any album..

You can try contacting Shuhei Naruse, the composer for Stream+ and most likely for the Misora pop songs as well. If not, it's probably somewhere in the vaults of ShoPro, Xebec, whoever handled the songs.

As for the English songs, they're probably somewhere at Viz Media.

I did contact Mr. Naruse :chibi:

I'm happy that he actually noticed my message and replied to it. He admitted to being the composer of them (which I'm glad to finally have a proper confirmation of) and told me they were never released on any CD. I'm well aware of this fact.

I guess he wouldn't be able to send me a copy of it the even if he most likely owns the song. Maybe he has some legal obligations regarding that, I have no idea. Or maybe I just don't know how to ask him without it looking weird.

That's not what I mean at all. Her song on YouTube is glued from various episodes, which in fact has either people talking over it, or Cancer Bubble singing the chorus (Episode 18 or 9 in the English version).

I'm trying to find the original version, although I doubt anyone I contact would just send it over like that.

Awww, that's too bad. I kinda expected a response to that extent, though. Shuhei Naruse put out some great music for the series that'll never be heard in its glory... You can still discretely ask him if you feel ballsy...

Wendee Lee was the voice director for the MMSF dub, but her Twitter's been dead for a while. But I'd assume she'd give the same answer... The UK MMSF DVD is 2.0 stereo sound, so there's no hope for clean rip from those either.

To be honest, I don't want to seem pushy. I'm surprised enough that he replied to such a question to begin with.
Even if I asked I doubt he would just send a link like that over Twitter to some stranger... or something.
