Keep in mind that there was no lag in any of these battles and I lost like a crapton of times.

The other day I was PvPing online. Came across some dude named *Mike*. Very good, used dbl stone and poison panels/poison storm. Mainly killed me with poison panels because I lacked FloatShoes. I get off and put it on. We meet each other again and I had a better chance against him. Now this one paticular battle I was doing well. He had 1 hp left and I was going to kill him with WingBlade LLR combo and he countered with aura. As I hear the ring that I did the combo right, it lags like crazy and the battle disconnects. Now I expect this from noobs and hackers, but a very good player who "happens" to D/C right when he was about to lose pisses me off to no end. The worst part, there was no nul in his part, so pretty much he took off the USB connecter or walked from the connection. I might be wrong, but until this is just too coincidental IMO. You D/Cers can piss off.

Its sad to hear people still do this. I remember when I first got into the .EXE games I would read up on the gamefaq's boards for various games and I recall a lot of people d/cing back then. Why can't people just man up and take a death/loss in a videogame.. I begin to wonder if its their ego or something else that causes them to make these decisions to d/c

Yeah, stuff like that really does make me mad. And people always do it in good battles too, the battle'll be insane or something... And then they'll just like get out of it. =/. Makes me sad to see that there are few true players online.

People do that, because they are very sore losers, and they just don't want to be laughed at by a noob that is better than them.

Its not RnR, but I remember when I was overseas, I had a BN6 battle with TGP, and as he was about to kill me, my comp bluescreened. As soon as I could, I got back online, but he was off by the time I got back.

It is unlikely that he disconnected randomly, but it isn't impossible. This kinda stuff happens sometimes.

Well, we were using computers. Computers then to be unpredictable. Routers too, but I can't give the benefit of the doubt for this one. :l

Seeing that D/C is a common problem in online games, I wouldn't give the benefit of doubt either. I, for once, was playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 online and managed to, somehow, beat a pretty good guy, with like 60000 BP more then me and a good ranking, and he didn't D/C because he lost.
I do remember as well, betting a guy on SF2 in a Triple Battle by winning the last two battle, and he didn't D/C either, and I won by mere luck on the last fight.
