SO many fan games, it's crazy XD and Damn... I feel like EVERYONE has hogged all the programmers; y'all are in such high demand. Off Topic: BTW THIS IS MAH 100th POST :DDDDD EDIT: I love the fact that you guys did that; too bad it's staying inside the walls of MP. But still, congrats on that point. Why do you say that? Apparently to many programmers, coding a MMBN style battle is very easy. |

There actually are a few good programmers, but don't have time, or have been inactive lately. But if there were a lot, a good Bn 7 would already be out. @PDR: The coding is quite easy, but creating the WHOLE story, and making a game with at least 10 hours of gameplay is pretty hard. @Spyman: I get you, but hey that's all progressive; hence releasing Demos with updated scenarios every now and then. @MaxRock: True, I understand what you mean. But like I said, it's all progressive. |

This. Finding a programmer would mean you would have to be absurdly lucky. Not to mention, the amount of time required to make a BN game (they take a lot more time than many might think). The time of the commitment from spriters, writers, programmers and musicians may deter a lot of people. If you hope to start your own game, you better be prepared to work for a few years. |

Relasing too many demos is a bad idea as well. Many things can get spoiled and peoples can lost interest in the project. |

I don't mind the time, I love a long term project And okay, I guess I just have to be sure I create a good team; and I actually have a plan to make that happen.@MaxRock: Trust me, I thought about that already xD That's why I think fan game demos should be properly timed in terms of release. -Why do you like playing/making EXE fan games? I like to play them, because they distress me and are very different from the main ones so there's always something new to see. -What do you usually expect from those fan games? Usually a new story, but with some of the elements from megaman games. -Are there any things you usually ask for in the time of its development? No, usually I give suggestions if the developers accept them -Which do you like seeing more: Old EXE Characters Coming Back, Old Classic Characters Entering the Network, New Characters Entering the Network or Your Character Entering the Network? I guess the first two, though the last two are nice too. -Have you tried making a fan game? If yes, what did you like about your attempt? If no, why not? Nah, haven't even had time because of school, and haven't thought of a good idea for a fan game actually. |
