In this guide, you will be learning how to sub level hack Megaman Battle Network 6 chips. What you need:
Visual Boy Advance
Patience
All Chip and P.A. offsets
MMBN6

Our first tester will be FlshBomb3. Use this offset to get there - 080227B6
Ok…Here is what they mean:
Red: Chip Family
Blue: Sub Level
Orange: Navis
Purple: Damage (ignore for now)

Let’s start with red … in FlshBomb3, the chip family is the 12 and the sublevel is the 02.

Ok, to start testing, just put in values going higher than 02. Why not 00 or 01? Well, 00 is Flshbomb1 and 01 is FlshBomb2. So we start going 03 and up. If you put 03 in, it only paralyzes with no damage. This shows something, that, not all sublevels do damage, and some freeze the game. 04 and 05 are just confusion and blindness no damage. But take a look at this. If you put in 1F, is hurries the enemy’s animation value and then resets it once. So I found out that some sublevels don’t only not do damage, but also can effect animations. (Needs more testing ;) )
If you continue to test these values going up you can make something very fun like, Delay bomb, (0B). Or Float Bomb (BB). These two values are (Very cool :P) odd because they do not correspond with the regular FlshBomb traits like paralyzation or confusion.
Freakin' Float is ossim effect:

Here are all my notes on FlshBomb 3:

OK, enough of FlshBomb. Now onto Poiseed, a very fun one.
Poiseed Offset-0802299A

I actually need to kinda test this one a little more because my notes are small on it. >_> But anyway, Poiseed is interesting because 00-EF is animation values. Meaning they access the animations and sprites in the game as in 04 makes glitch seed with no lag, and 09 makes a 3x3 NCP disable (not really) and the panels hit act like open panels but are glitched. But once you get to FA, it starts getting interesting because that is where the actual panels’ outcomes and sets come out. FC (weirdly enough) makes a 3x3 Uproad with an explosion. As FD makes a Meteor hit graphic with crack panel. *Dubbed Napalm Seed* So all you have to do is just put in these values in the sub level.

Ok, ok. I know this guide so far has been pretty much my findings, but you will be guided now.
*How to make Navis appear out of chips with time freeze or no time freeze*
Ok, you remember the navi family right? (15) Since you’re at poiseed’s offset already, why not just use its values, right? *coughfailedattemptatnonchelantcough*
Ehmm, ok, to make it a navi chip just change the chip family from 12 to 15. Simple right? WRONG! There’s more to it. The Navi Chip codes…are at the 0C here:

Start with 02, yea, no navi but a blinder cool right?
Ok, onto navis. (Non-time freeze)
2B=Would be protoman, just like in MMBN5 DT! Cool right? WRONG! OBJECTION! He’s right. It is cool. : P
3B would be Colonel. So have fun with MMBN5 DT for now.
One you should try and can manipulate easily is Sun moon. The Value being 43 (Non-time freeze ossim with 5 chips) let’s you be able to change how it acts by changing where you changed the sublevel, I think putting 01 there made it just Blue Moon, and 02 Sun Moon, and FF crashing moon, but I’m not sure. <_< >_>
To get different values in Navi chips, just keep moving the value higher in hex. You know, 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 1A…and so forth.

Ok, now let’s work with something cool. On the Poiseed offset, change the 15 now to 14. (I think this is the shooting cannon stuff family.) Ok now where you changed navis, this is where you change these values. I don’t think I have to tell you any values, pretty much whatever you put in will be as cool as hell! (I recommend after testing putting in FA-FF and 0A-0F really cool results)

Hmmm…is there any more to cover? You basically get the idea. Uh…
*thinks the deepest thought Eva’*
*still thinks*
*grabs a bagel*
*Is still thinking*
*thinks of it*
AHA! Got it.
*finally beats burger quest*
No, no. If you want to change the damage, use the hex on your calculator and if you want time-freeze navis, just change the family.
I think that’s it for this guide, well ONTO THE CREDIT!!!
Oh yea, if you want to test your own chips, Here is all the Offsets for P.A.s and Normal Chips.

Oh god.
Another chip hacking guide.
This one is ONCE AGAIN IN 16-BIT, is only for a certain part of chip hacking, and contains no new information.
Also it is in the "notes" section, where it apparently is a guide.

Oh yeah, another one. Abby is right, no more 16-bit, we need 8-bit now.
I know you really worked hard on this guide, but they are just notes on sub levels, so......

The worst part might be that there has been a Battle Chip Editor by GM for quite a while now which is MUCH more user-friendly than a memory editor.
