RPG Maker Ace? Gotta win!
|
Hey everyone, it's KRH and I will be doing a short contest. Anyone can participate, and when you do, it's only requires very few elements to get started. Let's begin with addressing the details of the contest. Your story must be original, and not based off of anime's, movies, books, et cetera. You must use correct grammar, as well as spelling. I will deny you nearly immediately if I see poor, to zero grammar. When writing make sure to keep the dialect simple. I don't need some fancy ass languages in there unless it helps on the plot. Your book should not be sexual, or perverted in anyway unless it helps with the plot. Either way, please keep it 14-. With that said, I can now move onto the contest rules! Below are a list of rules needed to be followed or I will turn down your stories. 1. Your book must contain 3 chapters or more. 2. Remember that art and illustrations help with the final cut. They are not required though. 3. You must have a professional feel to it meaning it has to be indented, as well using proper language. 4. To participate, I expect to see a reading material that is suitable for above the eight grade. You don't necessarily have to be 14 or older to write, just as long as I am not reading some childish material. 5. When sending your material, please either send me a .rtf file through a TREZ PM (Since Nemo decided to "[nemo]<snip>[/nemo]" my address, looks like all you can do is go through PM. :D). I will inform you if I have read over your material. When I look through it, and I find it suitable, I will then add it to this post. 6. I will not be grading your story plot, rather I will be grading your planning, grammar, spelling, and if it is suitable to be used in the contest. I will not toss away material that does not appeal to me, rather only because it was bad in the above details. UNLESS the story absolutely sucked, and even then... For those who made the final cut... They are listed below! _________________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for participating. I hope I get to see your stories! The rules for this contest have already put out 3 members so far I don't see this contest happening. Nevertheless, I will also be on the sidelines rooting. |

I shall change it up, but I don't understand why it's so hard for people to do this? I write school papers harder than this... |

You really think people here are going to spend hours writing or copying a 150 Paragraph story on a PM? |

You write one over in word document, and Megaboy, it's not like you were going to participate anyway. |

My biggest problem is that they wont be able to go into the First Post once they are sent to you. A single story of said length will not be able to go into the post. I would love to see this comp happen, but I dont think zetaboards will let it. |

I think...... I would attempt to participate but I don't know the time that I could consume since 3 paragraphs and higher will probably take 2 hours or higher. Thus, perhaps I should never let my patience down. |
