Has anyone here ever heard of an "Everfolder"? If so, ignore this. But if not, here's what it is. Basically, it's a folder in BNs 2-6 that contain chips carried from BN 1. Interested? Well, here's a few tips to building one if you're REALLY interested. Plus another thing to keep in mind is that there's no 1 omni-versal everfolder, otherwise it'd be called "Everfolder 6". See, a everfolder that has chips up to the game has a number. Like for example, I have BN4 Red Sun/Blue Moon so it'd be called "Everfolder 4". Or I also have Team Protoman so if I had one in there it'd be called "Everfolder 5". -> Name changes don't count against you (ex: "Steal" chip which becomes "Area Grab" in BN2 or "Repair" which becomes "Panel Return" in the next games) -> The Life Aura battle chip can still be used despite the damage negation (ex: it repelled 100 damage or less in BN1 and BN2 as "Life Aura 1" but repelled 200 damage as "Life Aura 3" and "Life Aura" in BNs 3-6. However, the "Aura" chip in BN3 repelled 100 damage like the BN1 Life Aura so it doesn't count.) -> Each chip must exist up to the game you're taking the challenge in. Like for example, the Widesword battle chip. It exists in practically EVERY Battle Network so of course it counts! -> If the chip was a part of a series (omitting the Life Aura) but is alone in other BNs then it has to have about or the same power as the chip (ex: "Invis" can be used since it has the power of "Invis 1" which is also allowed in a Everfolder 2) -> If the damage pattern is similar then the chip can be used. ("Tornado" can be used because it damages like "Huricane", "Guard" and "Guard/Reflector 1" can be used since it's just a "Metguard" while sending out a shockwave) -> Power changes also don't count against you ("M-Cannon" initally dealt 120 damage but was reduced to 80 by BN2 then was raised again in BN4) -> Navi chips can be used but can only be V1 and V3, the initial one and SP. As far as Bass is concerned, you can only use his V1 chip because in BNs 4-6 he has a solo chip for each version (Red Sun, Team Protoman and Gregar all have Bass, whereas Blue Moon, Team Colonel and Falzar has the "Bass Anomaly" chip) But if you're going to use him in BN3 then you need to hack the game to get the "Bass X" chip. (It should look like Megaman is holding his buster and will trigger the air burst attack from BNs 1 and 2) Whew, MAN that was a lot of words! Well anyway, if you're interested in this challenge then post your vids in this thread or post some pictures of your chips you're using. If not, then feel free to post your thoughts here! |
