ever since I have noticed about this feature, I wanted to discover more of what their potentials are. I've already discovered when MMBN5 GBA game into the DS, that made ToadMan use its' healing on the other navis, and not getting 5 squares in front like it used-to. so it gets me to wondering, what are the other powerups that the other navi's have, when other MMBN GBA games are slotted in? on the side note, I feel sad for NumberMan/SearchMan, because that their powerups only work from RMEXE 4.5, which is Japanese only. XP that really blows, since that us Americans can't use that feature for those two navis in the USA version. D: one last thing, I wonder if there was a way to trick the DS game as if the GBA games are slotted in, to unlock the features from the GBA games.. o3o that would be awesome if that was possible. - Soldjermon Edited by Soldjermon, Aug 22 2010, 07:45 PM.

I never realized the liberation ability changed with the GBA cart. I think the other ones don't do anything special. |

well you never know until you try them all! ;3 but I wasn't able to get that far into the game to use the navi powerups, because I had issues of not owning all of the MMBN GBA games. so it was not possible for me to test them all. XP I just hope that there's another way. - Soldjermon |

Mind telling me how you did it? I own at least one version of all the BN games and I want to try it out. I can't seem to get ToadMan to heal... I'll later try 4.5 with an emu. Edited by Midnite, Aug 23 2010, 08:56 AM.

I had MMBN4 slotted in while I was playing Double Team on my Team Protoman file. The only thing I really noticed about NapalmMan was that his chip was ridiculously overpowered xD Like in the 6th Liberation Mission against DarkProtoman, the Napalm bomb did the 120+60 damage or something instead of 120. I didn't really notice any other changes, but there might've been some. |

the game that I had of when ToadMan's abilities had changed is when I had MMBN5 TC in the GBA slot. so it corresponds to which game you have in the GBA slot, to have a different effects on different navis. that's how it happens. - Soldjermon |

Just took a look at this, apparently only the Navichip of the Navi in question gets a powerboost; no buster boost, special liberation commands, etc. |

it's so strange.. why did ToadMan's ability change only work for me, and no one else? hmm... really strange... I'll try that again, to make sure that it isn't just a fluke. - Soldjermon |

Perhaps you could report on a more accurate timing? Such as low health? |

now that I have checked many times. I have proof that ToadMan's ability has healing power; but from what I had surprised me, that it wasn't the powerup from the GBA ports that ToadMan's ability had changed.. here are the screenshots. here's the one with the power up. here's the one without powerup..? and here's the one from... the GBA version?! WTF?! DXso, now this gets me to thinking, how in the hell did ToadMan's ability had changed from liberating 5 squares ahead, to healing others? now that is REALLY strange.. I think that the only way this is happening, is because that on my official copy of MMBN5DTDS, ToadMan did the 5 squares ahead, and not the healing ability. maybe that could be the reason? - Soldjermon Edited by Soldjermon, Aug 24 2010, 08:03 PM.
