Shouldn't you do the last diagram in 32 bit? It makes it more clear whats a pointer.

Considering A 18 and A 19 should be broken up to mention pallet as well it doesnt make much sense to be in 32bit cause those spots don't work as normal pointers.

I don't have that information, to do those, I would need a direct values for me to post a guide on.

I don't really go through the chip hacking guide that fast... you shoulda seen the first version I made. It was horrendous. I cover the core pretty well... just not the extras that others discovered afterwards. We could unify some threads, that would be helpful.
I run a Mass Effect 3 modding site named ME3Tweaks.com that details how to mod ME3 as well as showcasing mods for the multiplayer aspect of the game. I also developed a mod manager utility as well as an online mod creation tool named ModMaker.

How come there are no value lists for the major attack values? There is time-freeze, Navi attacks, and other attacks (1C)

*points to Zanes compilation of values that can't possibly fit inside a TREZ post*

Translation of Kris's wonderful comment is that there is a list on AHA that i've yet to find a place to post on here. After all, Its sublevels, time freezes, most level mods, and lots of other stuff. Like vulcan's 255 sub level values.

But If you want the navi attack list it follows the same order as the damage record list.

Aside from the fact that there are now 3 guides for this, and that Chip Data is in 8-bit,
This
is horribly confusing.

I don't think it's confusing at all. I almost have everything memorized on that list.

Stop assuming I'm wrong, and check it out first.

Simplest proof: Chip codes
Has it ever struck you as strange that in 16-bit notation, the chip code order is 2, 1, 4, 3?
In 8-bit, it goes 1, 2, 3, 4

Chip data is 8-bit, and 32-bit for the pointers to Chip icon, Chip Image and Chip Image Palette.

To add extra clarification the only 16bit value is the damage.

Also sublevels follow the same order in 16 of 2,1,4,3

16Bit notation is what I was taught on, and if that is a problem, then do it in 8Bit, it's all the same, everything is just swapped.

It is not a problem, just formatted different. 16bit is easier to read for beginners.

Like math doesn't mention negatives till positives are fully understood. The basic format is 16bit cause its easy to read and simple, but the deeper understanding comes at 8bit where the negatives comes into place.

16-bit view in itself isn't easier. It's more complicated because you constantly need to convert stuff in order to get the real data. Surely you must encounter that problem when saving your chip changes to the ROM? The only reason 16-bit is "easier" for you guys is because you learned from those horrid memory viewer pictures (which would've been perfectly fine if they used 8-notation, but the problem is that they didn't). The pictures are easy, not the notation. If you prefer 16-bit, by all means feel free to continue to use it (you're the ROM editor) but if you use it in tutorials and notes other people will learn it that way too and then the problem will never get solved.

YES!
I only work on a hex editor, and only use programs such as Graphics Editors when I can't do it manually on a Hex Editor. 16-bit notation never really was ideal for me, but since 95% of hackers use Memory Viewers primarily, I've not really had an argument.
(The only thing I like a Memory Viewer for is Palette Hacking)

I know its a huge job, but if we convert all of Zanerus's notes into 8-bit, and write a guide for 8-bit (or just use Megarock's Chip Data Format), it will make Chip Hacking a whole lot easier.

The only thing that could be considered any easier with 16-bit is Attack Power.
