I think they should make a megaman game where you play through the perspective of chaud and protoman..I would totally buy that game. Anyone with me? |

oh, on the main topic though.. i dont think they should make a collection. There are too many repetitive games. It would be like playing megamanbn six times over with slight plot twists and new chips. |

Isn't that similar to the Megaman Zero Collection that they just come out with a few weeks ago? |

Okay I voted Yes, but I would say Yes and No. Yes cause every finished MegaMan series as already had one that compiles every or almost every game (besides X Collection); and I would suggest it to be made to the upcoming Nintendo 3DS. But I would say No, cause I'm afraid that they will just make some trolled fail again like in OSS. Okay, OSS isn't bad nor horrible, but it's no remake, it's a simple port with 95% of the game BN and the other 5% is extras. So the No is just because I'm afraid of having the exact same thing as BN1-BN6 with just 1% enchantments to the collection. Either way, I wouldn't say no to it if, it is made. |

yeah

Many people want it, but it's just not possible, the Ds can't hold that much data or something like that. What I really want is a challenge, Battle Network 1-6, with harder "stuff" Each boss's HP is multiplied by 1.5, the AI should be better(for standard in game bosses). The games were too easy, I want a challenge that doesn't involve collecting a lot of chips to access in game bonuses. |

That's why I said for it to be made to the Nintendo 3DS, Spyman. It would be cool to play in 3D and the 3DS' cartidges are 2GB base. So that's more than enough for the entire collection.

When I'm thinking EXE Collection, I'm also thinking about having the Gamecube EXE game on the collection. I know that the GC one can't run on the DS. |

I vote yes, but only if it's for the 3DS or another Nintendo handheld afterwards. I'm actually thinking of something a little more ambitious, regarding the merging of both versions of a particular EXE game... And I don't mean like how EXE 5 DS did it, I mean complete merging. I just recently posted some ideas over at Capcom Unity regarding how they could go about doing this. The below is a copy-paste from my Capcom Unity posts regarding this. I know the chances of them doing something like the below is slim to none, but it's always nice to think about things like this once in a while. --- I posted a lot of ideas on how Capcom could be able to pull off a EXE collection over at GameFAQs several months ago. Since then, I've expanded on those ideas a bit. The below outlines possible solutions to the main issues with such an idea. 1) Version exclusive content: Regarding EXE 3: Merge both versions together. The version exclusives of 3 did not matter to the story at all, and there are so few differences to the point where merging them together wouldn't break the game in any way. - Shadow and Ground styles have different methods to unlock them anyways. - Make it so that you have to challenge both Mistman and Bowlman to obtain Rank 2. - Have the bugfrag vendor that sells only FolderBack in Blue/NaviRecycle in White sell both at the same time. Regarding EXE 4: This one is a little bit more complicated, but I believe merging both versions together can work here too. After all, in the original EXE 4 games, if you exchanged data with someone who has the other version, your version gives you a chance to play through the other version's tournament scenarios with no issues at all. That's not even mentioning that each scenario had little impact on the overall story. Sure, having access to all 12 Souls at the same time might be a little broken, but what the hey, I'm for anything that encourages crazy folder building. - Manage Soul distribution per playthrough so that you are guaranteed 4 Souls during each playthrough, meaning that you'd have all 12 by the time you are done with your third playthrough. - Have the Blue Moon GigaChip be given out during the first playthrough, and Red Sun during the second. Maybe a new GigaChip can be created that is handed out during the third playthrough. - A possible third Gigachip could be named Silver Star. Power is 150-250 depending on your Light/Dark alignment (the further light or dark you are, the higher the attack power becomes), it strikes panels in a + shape, and a successful strike (if Light) sends you into Full Synchro status/(if Dark) sends you into 'Dark Invis' berserk mode. - Split the second post-game area into two new areas, one containing DS versions of the Blue Moon Navis, and the other containing DS versions of the Red Sun Navis. Have ForteSP remain as a random encounter in both areas, with the difference being that the GigaChip he drops is dependant on which version's area you're in. - GET RID OF THAT DAMNED PANIC MUSIC AFTER DEFEATING THE FINAL BOSS, JEEZ. Regarding EXE 5: This is complicated enough to the point where we know that merging both versions together will not work at all, unless they completely redo the team structure and certain parts of the story so that it somehow works out. I would try merging them anyways, because as EXE 5 currently is, we all know that Colonel version is much more important to the overall series story due to what happens in EXE 6. - Both teams can probably work together. Maybe before a Liberation mission, you can choose which Navis you want to use. Leader: Blues or Colonel? Stealth: Gyroman or Searchman? Support: Meddy or Toadman? And so on. Rockman is mandatory, of course. - Recruits will have to come in pairs. I can see Colonel and Blues being recruited at the same time (or more like both recruiting you) working out well enough, but the others might require some changes to their respective scenarios. - There's one point in the original games where Rockman gets captured. This time around, you should be able to choose between borrowing Blues or Colonel during that time period. - There's one point in the original games where Blues or Colonel get captured. This time around, have BOTH become captured. Makes the last liberation mission that much more intense, huh? - But remember that in the original EXE 5 games afterwards, you have to have the opposite version's leader come and help you free your version's leader from his Dark Soul. Maybe this time around, have the team free Blues immediately after the liberation mission, so that Blues can come free Colonel during the scenario afterwards. Regarding EXE 6: This is also quite complicated, but it's simpler than EXE 5 due to the fact that the Navi Cross scenarios don't really matter much to the overall story at all (meaning that merging those might not be an issue at all). Plus, I'm sure many of you want to be able to utilize the Falzar + Gregar transformation as seen in the anime. However, unlike the Navi Crosses, the Beast Crosses are heavily story-based, to the point where plot devices are introduced that makes this become a huge problem. - The only way I can see this working out somehow is to decide on a split path towards the beginning of the game. - Choosing to take Aquaman's class makes the rest of the main story proceed as if you were playing Falzar version, and choosing to take Heatman's class makes the rest of the main story proceed as if you were playing Gregar version. - Everything regarding gaining the powers of the opposite version will most likely have to be done during a completely revamped post-game sequence (and I don't see any problems with changing the post-game around since the original EXE 6's post-game is already lacking anyways). Doing this during the main story would mean changing the story to the point where the game isn't really EXE 6 anymore. - GET RID OF THAT DAMNED PANIC MUSIC AFTER DEFEATING THE FINAL BOSS, JEEZ. For the revamped-post game... They can probably leave everything regarding Forte and the Boktai scenario/Graveyard as it is, but include a new part that involves Yukia/Circusman, Ito/Judgeman, and Vic/Elementman. In the original EXE 6, they jump off that ledge at the end and get arrested afterwards. But here, instead of being arrested, they escape and continue their plans, this time gathering up Falzar and Gregar's fragments of data. Rockman starts finding out about their plans when he finds Judgeman, then later Elementman, and learns enough by the time he defeats Elementman to know that he has to gather up the rest of the other beast's fragments before Circusman gathers up enough to do whatever they're planning to do. Of course, Rockman fails, and a (very weakened but still formidable) Grezar (?) is created. However, Rockman did actually gather up enough fragments of the other beast to gain its powers, and fuse it with his current powers. (Maybe Grezar is in another area where you're not allowed to save. Maybe you have to fight Circusman before fighting Grezar too, which would be a rather neat throwback to what the earlier games did when you had to face their final bosses.) 2) Regarding the Chip Ordering system: Yes, I find that the huge amount of time and luck it takes to get certain battlechips in certain codes is somewhat problematic and unecessary. That's why I propose the following... Give us the option of purchasing a battlechip in any of the available codes from Higsby (or Tab in the 6th game). Maybe when the shop first opens, the battlechip and respective code selection should be identical to that of the original games. However, as you advance through the main game, the other codes will be made available for purchase. (Hey, there has to be SOME limit. I doubt Capcom's going to let us build a really effective unicoded folder the moment the shop opens up, or even give us a chance to pull off all of the (alphabet soup-type) Program Advances much earlier than we should be able to.) Let's use EXE 6 as an example - Tab's shop opens up right after Aquaman/Heatman's scenario. You want to buy a Cannon battlechip, and they come in 4 codes in this game - A, B, C, and *. Initially, only the A code is available for purchase. When you clear Judgeman's scenario, the second code is made available for purchase, and the third made available after clearing Colonel's scenario. The last requires completion of the main game. Battlechips with 3 or less codes will follow the same unlocking scheme, minus the need to complete the main game for the last code. Of course, the chip ordering system doesn't appear to be an option in EXE 1 and 2 due to the lack of Higsby's shop in those games. Perhaps they can create a new shop in those games with a similar role? This would make folder building far less of a hassle (as in, nobody would need to farm a ton of Guard battlechips to throw in the chip trader in the hopes of getting something like AreaGrab *), and no longer will anyone get screwed out of post-game completion just because they threw an important trade-chain battlechip into the chip trader beforehand. If one is made, it needs to have something that will make you want to get it instead of just a collection of the entire series. Because if not, why buy it? |
