Now, I tried to go into some sprites that are NOT in the sprites list, then I found a area that control Emotion Window. So lets get started, Edit the emotion windows for Megaman ![]() So the Emotion Window control area is 0801CD00. (Falzar and Gregar) This area is pretty funny, it's like a attack, you can see the Light Green box, it points to the next offset, like a starting frag. In the Red box, they are the emotion windows pointer, the order is, Normal Megaman > Angry Megaman > Tired Megaman > Full-sync Megaman > Weak Megaman > Heat/Spout Cross > Elec/Tomahawk Cross > Slash/Tengu Cross > Erase/Ground Cross > Charge/Dust Cross > Tired Heat/Spout Cross > Tired Elec/Tomahawk Cross > Tired Slash/Tengu Cross > Tired Erase/Ground Cross > Tired Charge/Dust Cross > Beast out Heat/Spout Cross > Beast out Elec/Tomahawk Cross > Beast out Slash/Tengu Cross > Beast out Erase/Ground Cross > Beast out Charge/Dust Cross > Beast out Megaman > Full-sync Beast out Megaman > Beast over. This is a bit long right? As you know, Beast out cross emotion window use the same emotion window of normal megaman cross, you may want to change the emotion window of the beast out cross. So in this guide I will teach you to change on of the emotion window pointer, Beast out Heat/Spout Cross. Edit the pointer (for this Gregar version I will edit 0872BED0) for Beast out Heat/Spout Cross to a free space, example 08800000. Its like the other emotion window just edit a new emotion window in tile molester, you can learn from TGP, watch this video. Just make sure your emotion window is 32x16. After that you should worried about the palette, look at the image, the blue box is the palette pointer, no need to change it because it has all palette for all emotion windows, the order is the same as above. The purple box is the Stubs, not necessary I think. At last the orange box, it's the end frag, so again useless to change it. That's it, after you have done the editing, you have given a new emotion window for the Beast out Heat/Spout Cross. Like this, ![]() Edit the emotion windows for Net Navis You guys should know that if you play Spoutman in Gregar, it use that emotion window of Heat, the guide below will show you how to make a emotion window for the net navis that can only play with cheat. But before you watch the guide, you need Tile Molester. ![]() 0801CDA0 is the area to control net navis' emotion windows. Red Box is the Emotion Window pointer, if you go to that offset 72AFD0 (without 08) in Tile Molester, you will find this. ![]() In this example, I will re-point the pointer to 08800000. Copy the 6 navis Emotion Windows to 800000 in Tile Molester. In the photo below I also opened the Falzar game. ![]() And then you copy the Falzar navi emotion window to Gregar game. ![]() Now we have done the emotion windows, now for palette. Back to the first image. The Blue is the palette pointer, I will re-point it to 08800B00. Go to that offset 72B5D0, you should find the 16 palettes of emotion windows, the order is, Heatman Normal > Heatman Full sync > Elecman Normal > Elecman Full sync > Slashman Normal > Slashman Full sync > Eraseman Normal > Eraseman Full sync > Chargeman Normal > Chargeman Full sync > Protoman Normal > Protoman Full sync. Copy the palettes to 800B00 in Tile Molester, also copy those palettes from Falzar game, then you will get this. ![]() Now we are ready for the graphics and palettes, so goto 0801CDA0 again in Memory Viewer. ![]() In the Purple box, its control the emotion and palette that use by the net navi, the order is, Heatman > Elecman > Slashman > Eraseman > Chargeman > Spoutman > Tomahawkman > Tenguman > Groundman > Dustman > Protoman. Remember the order you set in the Tile Molester? Now change the value for Falzar navi to the correct order. Change 00 01 02 03 04 00 01 02 03 04 05 to 00 01 02 03 04 06 07 08 09 0A 05 And this is the results...... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() NEW:Seperate the emotion windows for Megaman in Gregar and Falzar I write this using a very short time, so I won't explain much. First you need a expanded gregar game and falzar game. Open tile molester. Left is Gregar and right is Falzar. Copy the falzar crosses (all 10 emotion windows) to 800000. ![]() Then copy falzar beast and beast over emotion windows right below dust cross. ![]() Next, copy the palette in the light blue box and put them right below falzar beast over, gregar palette first. ![]() After that you should get this. ![]() Tile molester is done, save and goto memory viewer. Remember the picture on top? Goto 0801CD00 and change the red box offset to wherever you want, I put it 08900000. And change the offset in the orange box (palette offset) to where to copy the palette at, in this case, it should be 08800C00. ![]() Now goto 08900000, copy all offsets in the blue box on the previous picture. ![]() Then add offsets after them, I won't explain much, but you have create a new order of emotion windows. Normal Megaman > Angry Megaman > Tired Megaman > Full-sync Megaman > Weak Megaman > Heat Cross > Elec Cross > Slash Cross > Erase Cross > Charge Cross > Tired Heat Cross > Tired Elec Cross > Tired Slash Cross > Tired Erase Cross > Tired Charge Cross > Beast out Heat Cross > Beast out Elec Cross > Beast out Slash Cross > Beast out Erase Cross > Beast out Charge Cross > G-Beast out Megaman > Full-sync G-Beast out Megaman > G-Beast over > Spout Cross > Tomahawk Cross > Tengu Cross > Ground Cross > Dust Cross > Spout Cross > Tomahawk Cross > Tengu Cross > Ground Cross > Dust Cross > Beast out Spout Cross > Beast out Tomahawk Cross > Beast out Tengu Cross > Beast out Ground Cross > Beast out Dust Cross > F-Beast out Megaman > Full-sync F-Beast out Megaman > F-Beast over ![]() Finally, goto 0801E700, change the bytes in the red box to this, and you are done! Investigate why is that youself! ![]() Good luck on Emotion Window modding !!! Question? Edited by brianuuu, Mar 15 2011, 02:06 AM.

Also I have a question about a possibility. Is it possible to give Heatman or Spoutman a different emotion window by repointing than the one already given? For example if both Heatman and Spoutman are in the same patch, and they both share the same emotion window, but the hacker wnts them on two different windows, is it possible to repoint heatman to protoman's window and use his slot for a custom one of heat man. |

yes, that would be very interesting, and would solve a significant number of problems. I'd assume if it is possible, it would work in an identical way that this works, just wit different offsets. |
