Proportionally, it's still wrong. Torso is too small and head is gigantic.
Torso to small? It's bigger than Megaman, unless you mean vertically.

Well, Rock is blue AND cyan. All cyan is just bad and eye burning.

@Spy: Yes, I meant the height. Right now he just looks stocky.

I shrunk the head, as you head and it looks odd, I'll work on the height.

You're still having problems with proportions. I really suggest using other stances other than Mega, their stances just looks really odd.

What? Enker is not Megaman stanced, actually, the stance he has, has never been used before. But the other 2 guys are Megaman based, but they don't look too bad.

It's okay, but it's not too good. It's a recolor,C+P with some customs, I made mine from 100% scratch, so I like mine better, although yours looks pretty good.

This is gonna be pretty difficult to explain, but I'm going to do my best to explain and I'll provide a sample to attempt to explain the lighting and shading (mainly lighting). The following will be for BN6 only.

Posted Image

The part that would stick out closer to you the most in a 3D perspective is the brighter piece of that limb/armor. This is the main thing you'd focus on when lighting the neck on down.
the smaller sun in the picture "supports" the largest sun (you). i can't really explain the support sun

For the helmet, the sun would be directly above MM just like the accessory on his back (i didn't put this sun in. too many suns).

If anyone else can explain this in another way for me by all means please do. The way capcom did this lighting thing really is strange and wonderful.

Again if you doubt my theory, look at MM and the panels.

Edit: Apologies in advance to the Tribe Leader, Shaman, Warchief, and Elders if this image is too large (which it probably is).

I believe shading to be the last few steps of drawing. If the base of the character don't look good to begin with, I wouldn't be fussing over the shading.

The base looks, good, that's why I shaded. I take the same steps as you, so what's wrong?

It's just the problems I stated before. I'd really like it if those problems are fixed before worrying about the shadings too much.

The panels are a bad example in your light theory. The last row of panels you added create inconsistent lighting. The topmost panel should be the darkest and in this case it isn't. Also, the perspective on the stage is 0 degrees and that means it gets to be perfectly square. The same thing goes for the rock cubes. All other sprites have different perspectives.

Can you comment on my sprites, and yeah you messed up pretty bad, but it was only to show where the "Sun" was.

Yeah it was pretty bad. I didn't bother recoloring the panels because i was just showing where the light was coming from. But like I said, mainly the part that sticks out closest to you has most light and I think that goes for majority of sprites.
