Well, let's start the guide now!! Wall Hacking Guide Credits to SpikeMan for giving me hte walls offset. 02027A04. NOTE: Wall data is pretty INTENSE. This guide may be inaccurate. Start by opening up VBA. Head to Lan's Bathroom, and then open up Memory Viewer. Go to this RAM offset containing the wall data of Lan's Bathroom:
You should be looking at the wall data of Lan's Bathroom. It should have a pattern to you. But, I'll go ahead and explain this in a picture. ![]() Red: Encrypted Wall Value(EWV) Green: Wall That Encrypted Value Is On(W(T)EV(IS)) I maybe didn't highlight all of it, or highlighted too much, but you get how it works, right? To be honest, its pretty straightforward. Change the EWV of the wall of 0084 to 0000(which would be 7C80). Go to the downleft part of the room, and walk through it! There! You deleted the wall data for the downleft part of the room! Let me explain how this works. You deleted the EWV of 7C80 which is encrypted to the wall 0084? Well, 0084 is the wall for the downleft part near the exit. You deleted 7C80 which was the wall data of 0084. So, 0084 currently has no EWV encrypted with it. Alright, you just learned how to delete wall data. I'll upload a list later.. But there's more! Most of this stuff is up to notes now, but here's what I learned. The RAM offset at:
represents the exit value to the room. 01 is the main value that controls it. So, you can alter that value to get some different results. The offset at:
represents the objects in the room. Everything. It still has the same format of the real Wall Data. You can disable and enable the objects. Well, I guess that's all for this... guide. Probably I'll update some more. The format is pretty uneasy now, but, I'm sure you guys will catch on. Edited by Agro, Jun 30 2010, 02:50 PM.

Using the cheat SpikeMan gave me, 2027A04 is actually the wall data index for all the maps. So, not just for Lan's Bathroom, but for all the maps in the game. It all has the same format, just different Encrypted Wall Value. |
