Not my idea of awesome. I'll probably still buy it, but I still can't say I'll like it. Oh well, I guess I'll have to try it. Anyone else's thoughts? Agree, Disagree?

*Sigh.* when you say buy it you mean the Japanese cart. Like i said. OSS isn't coming to the states. Disagreed.

Why would they skip battle network 2 though, I think they should make a collection of all the battle network games, instead of remaking them.

Remake of 3? Don't you mean a remake of one? Because thats what I thought it was because I've never played EXE1-3 (I can hear you gasping). A remake of 5 might've been better because then you could use him instead of Colonial/Blues when megaman gets kidnapped.

If it was a remake of 6 we could use SS rockman when rockman EXE was out of use because of the cybeast.

Double Team DS is the remake of 5. Even though theres no added storyline(just change of script) its more awesome than OSS

agree entirely...even though I never played OSS.

DTDS was not meant to be a "new" BN5, just BN5 with some new features (and it came out with more remixed music than OSS had")

DTDS had maps, party battle system, easier folder editing, better animation, better gaphics, and was FUN, not disappointing as all. OSS could have been great, but CAPCOM got lazy, cause they don't care about MM that much, let alone BN

This isn't a remake, this IS BN1 with a few extras. not worth the money if you already have BN1 as far as I'm concerned.

I think it should have been bits and pieces of all the bn games and ss rockman has to play through it to stop some one( like a super clockman)

I meant with Shooting Star Rockman, of course I know about MMBNDT, Shooting Star would've fit into BN5 more than he fit in BN1

How do you mean?
And, since it's (apparently) not coming stateside, why not just flashcart/patch it to english?
Someone's bound to make that.

I don't entirely agree with you, Megaman is Capcom's biggest franchise, and 2 new Megaman games are coming out this year. But I do agree about the laziness, the last few Megaman games were remakes, collections, or 8 bit games. I think they are running out of ideas.

ya i agree its kind of stupid to skip a sequel and if they did make a collection of the battle network games,i'd buy it if it was on ds

I forgot to mention that I realized this is not about making MMBN3, but MMBN1 with 3 extra features.

Capcom is just too lazy. It would have been better if they made more
remixed music, and the "Show Enemy Name Feature".

Basically, I don't like BN 1 music, just like BN 5 music, but since
Capcom had made a remake of BN 5, the music is remixed.

So then, why won't Capcom remix more music tracks
in BN 1? They sound horrible in my opinion.
And there's only ONE city track in the whole game.

While the other BN games has more than 2 city tracks.

OSS would be also better if they made new city tracks.
In my opinion, it isn't worth the buy. But it's worth
to download if you wanna re-experience BN 1...

if Capcom actually had put a lot more effort on the remake of MMBN1, it would have been much better sales and would have been ported to the USA.
all it had gotten, has a mini-map feature like MMBN5, one extra chip and one other feature that I don't know about.
so basically, they must have just ported the features from MMBN5, edited the features, put them on MMBN1 and ported the game onto the DS system. it is pretty lazy.
they could've edited the maps to make them stand out more compared to the original, improved the graphics of EVERYTHING, have a little more 3D(not like 3DS) features than it currently has.

well anyway, that's what my opinion is for OSS.
