- story centered on Forte as main villain (perhaps a 'good half' of Forte splitting off after a hard fight and helping Rockman or Patch's new navi fight the 'evil half' afterwards? though i don't know how that would work out in the cyberworld, lol) - liberations to access distant levels of the Net and perhaps a few in the main story. you would start out with your 'neighbourhood team' (Gutsman, Roll, Glyde) and gain new allies by advancing in the story - fight all navis from EXE1 to EXE6 =D (maybe only in secret area, but that's still something) plus new, EXE7 exclusive ones. - optional EXE4-style tournaments with random opponents (navis from EXE1-6 and maybe more) if you run out of cash and don't want to bust mettaurs or lurk in gmds for the 312894th time or just want a challenge - new style and navi fusion system; there would be all style types from EXE3 plus cursor/sword/breaking/wind styles. as for fusions (crosses/soul unisons), you would be able to fuse with every navi you encounter, but only by sacrificing their NaviChip. the stronger the navi chip would be, the stronger would your charge shot be and the more turns the fusion would last. an exception would be Chaos Fusions (sacrifice a NaviDS chip), which would last only one turn as in EXE5 and, also like in EXE5 have a 'risky', but very powerful chargeshot. no BeastOut for Rockman. - harder! - big secret area after clearing the main story, truly a second half of the game, with liberations, 'navi flashbacks' (stronger navis from EXE1-6 perhaps?) and maybe secret chips |

I would add a "Make you own Navi" section to the beginning of the game so you can play as your own design. You wuld choose what arms / legs / head / body / colours / etc... even what main element, and main abilities it had. Then you could really play as your own character. Also, I'd want to battle Glide, because he does nearly nothing throuhout the whole series, but looks kinda cool, and I would imagine him to be quite a powerful navi. As for story, I would imagine that you could be at Juniour High as, or with, Lan, with the usual storyline of a random group of cyber terrorists no-one has ever heard of tries to take over the net. Maybe with a bit more of a twist, the other storylines were a bit mundane. Perhaps Chaud is helping them because his dad is the leader of the terrorists and Chaud is a bit of a daddy's boy. I think style changes from BN2 / BN3 were best, so bringing them back would be good. You should also get power-ups from BN2 as well as the navicust, but power-ups only enhance the style you're using. The secret area needs to be big! Huge! With more of an in-depth story line and more side quests. The secret area could be a replica of the normal net, but darker, more sinister wih MUCH harder viruses. Very similar to the Dark Gate in Disgaea 2. You could also have to fill out a task in each area, and you get rewards for each task you complete, such as dark / extra powerful chips. Of course, another appearence from Bass is compulsary, but maybe make his moves a bit more versatile, other just the 3 or 4 he usually has. There should be tournaments as a side quest, not like the crap ones from BN4, that you get prizes from, chips / zenny / programs / etc... NO sword / cursor elements, they're just a waste fo space! Ideas for Boss / Extra Navis: StormMan - basically a mix between Thunderman (BN2) and Cloudman (BN5), MirrorMan - Reflects attacks and copies some of your moves, NoiseMan - Blasts soundwaves at you. Speakers pop up behind him which continually damage your HP, StoneMan - Similar to Knightman (BN2 + 5) and Craggers from BN6, PyroMan - Complementary fire-type navi that you find in EVERY game. Secret Area Navis: Celeste - Looks like an angel, uses Light element attacks and drops feathers from the sky Vamp - Dark style navi, uses dark element attack, drains HP, immune to reflect (Vampires dont have reflections!) JokerMan - Uses playing card style attacks. Chooses random card from deck, each with different effects: Number on Card = power, Spades = Direct attack, Clubs = another attack, Diamonds = Multi-attack (no. on cards = number of hits), Hearts = Heals him. StellarMan - Switches between Solar Mode (Sun) and Luna Mode (Moon). In Solar Mode, he holds up a sun, and beams of light come from it and strike random panels, in Luna Mode, he holds up a moon, and sends a wideshot style attack, like a crescent moon. Bass / Forte - Of course, he is simply a necessary part of every secret area. A Hard mode once you've completed the normal mode. |

Thing is, are they planning a 7th one? B/c It has a cutsene were lan is grown up and has a kid of his own, and it says "Series concluded" So I don't think they'll make a 7th one, b/c they are already doing starforce.

We know they're not making another one, these are just things we think should be in BattleNetwork if they did make another one. There are a few groups of people who are trying to make their own versions, but none are complete yet, and still have a lot of work to be done on them. Here's one: MMBNBCTOnline - MegaMan Battle Network Battle Chip Transmission Online (Quite a mouthful...) |

I'd make Mega Man a total human without the use of the Copybot (Was that the name of it?) and then turn into a Mettaur and delete Mega Man by becoming...METTAUR MAN. Yes, that was a serious post. |

Able to make your own chips. For example: you have to go to Yuu's (Netto and Hub/Rockman's father) lab. he will ask you to get blank chips (Which is where you install your chip onto. You can find them on roads as those blue crystal data things.) he will ask you to customize A SIMPLE CHIP LIKE A WATER SWORD and he will burn it onto your empty chip and install it in you PET.

Major thread necro, but it's a thread with a question that I haven't seen on this forum before. I have tons of ideas. Let me take some time to compile a list... General: - Toss out that dual version stuff, unless the story can branch out in different directions based on the version. (And I'm talking about something far more complicated than just interchangably using Falzar/Gregar and the Crosses between both versions.) Gameplay: - Design bosses with specific strengths and weaknesses in mind, not just slap on a few attacks that fit their theme and have them move around, spamming them mindlessly. Actually give them some form of defense. For those who don't get what I mean, compare the EXE 6 bosses to the EXE 3 bosses. I have a rather interesting idea for a potential bonus boss that can kill you through pure attrition, which I'll elaborate on later. - Revamp the Job Requests to make them better organized and allow room for 'chain' requests (multiple job requests with an overarching story). I'll elaborate later if this thread is still open. |

What I'd want? I'd like every chip to be available with rebalancing, of course (although the grind would be horrible...) and all the bosses, although the earlier ones aren't exactly hard. Also the option to pick between styles and crosses, because they were both neat in their own ways. |

Probably have a mix of Styles and Crosses... HeatSlash, etc. That'd be pretty cool, I suppose. It'd be hard, too. MMBN/2 difficulty... Long storyline, a lot to do postgame, etc. |
