Programmer!

So I constructed a Megaman BN6 Guide on how to tile edit.
First of all: I don't know if this works with Gregar; I have Faltzer.

This is SUPER easy so don't ask for pictures.....(Imight add some)

First up, open up BN6 Faltzer.

We will be practicing in Lan's refrigerator so go there.

Now get this: Wherever you click is the spot you edit. So pretend that
you clicked on Lan's fridge. Then you go to Memory Viewer and click on that,
there will be values. Now click somewhere else in BN6 and click back
on Memory Viewer and different values come up. Get it now?

So open up Memory Viewer and go to this address:
0336B4E0. 8-bit

It might look like a address you've never seen before.

(Also Mgamerz mentioned that Lan's fridge is useless! Here's what I need to say:
This address is for ALL of Cyber City. The net too I think. Central Town,
Seaside, Green Town, and Sky.)

So now click "Go".

Click on Lan's fridge. Now click on Memory Viewer.
Now like all of those values on Memory Viewer and below
are all almost tiles.

Now experiment.

Try out every value you can.

AB, AC, AD, 12, 13, and all that.

NOTE: On another thought, there are some stuff I want
to cover.

Most of the times do not use every two values from the beginning.
What I mean by that is look at this.

Pretend these are the values:(note i just made this up)

Every time i put a "12" that is where you do not enter values

34 12 34 12 34 12 34 12

Get it?

don't mix up random values.
They can get you in the mess.

Other than that you can use all those other values.

Have fun with this!

Okay to get started off I would learn to sprite hack. It would help a bit(not that much though).

Start this off by opening up BN6 ROM and going to Lan's House's fridge. This is where we will be practicing. Open up Memory Viewer and go to this address: 0336B4E0

Now now, if nothing is there click on VBA and then click on Memory Viewer. It will probaly change.

Now all you want to edit is the first value, skip the second, to the third, skip the fourth, and go to the fifth. You see the way it goes? If you edit those ones we skip it just makes a little mess on my screen.

So you edit the odd number values from the beginning and like change them to a value you want.

And then some part of the house will change.

That's mainly what i have found.

NOTE: I will update this topic with pictures! But my problem is that can you take pictures with HyperCam? If not please tell me a program that will. It's for the sake of this guide.
here is a awnser to your probulme there are two ways
1.Get image shack quick shot
2.press print screen Sys Rq next to F12 on key board
and no you cant not take pictures with hyper cam

now here is 1 Question
1.are we supposed to be in 8 bit 16 bit or 32 bit?
EDIT:cool i was able to replace a sub chip merchant guy with lans mom sprite take a look Posted Imagenow it isnt relly important just did some sprite importing the only down side is every sub chip merchant guy is lans mom sprite like for example if you go to Central town and look at sub chip merchant he will be lans mom sprite i can show you how to do this if you want

Wouldn't that just be the same exact thing as my guide?

Also you can use Windows Movie Maker to take pictures from video clips, that's where the pictures for my guide came from.

Make the pictures smaller.
Use Alt+Printscreen instead of just printscreen to snap the current window.
Or get a program for it.
After you fix the images I'll see about posting it. And you'll need a better title too.
Edit: The program I use for all my pictures that aren't edited is Imageshack Quickshot. 2 buttons and in a few seconds I'll have a URL on the clipboard and a copy in my folder. Great for speedy uploads. You can also link them to your imageshack account.
Edit: You need to put more information on your guide. This isn't really a guide because it only tells you what to do instead of guiding you through it. Also you need more addresses because only lan's fridge is a bit... useless.

I run a Mass Effect 3 modding site named ME3Tweaks.com that details how to mod ME3 as well as showcasing mods for the multiplayer aspect of the game. I also developed a mod manager utility as well as an online mod creation tool named ModMaker.
