Official Hacked Battle Contest 3 It's about time for another Hacked Battle Contest. A contest in which anyone may compete with others to make the best MMBN6 hacked battle on the subject. The topic this time is "Flashback Battle"! Basically, you have to create a battle using a Navi unique to BN4-5 making a comeback appearence. You can use anyone from those games excluding the following: Megaman, Roll, Gutsman, Heel Navi, Shadowman, Gyroman, Magnetman. Then, using various attack mods, you should be able to create a unique moveset to use. All the resources should already be available in the SubGuides section, but you may still have questions, so always ask. The contest will close on December 20, 2008. Hopefully there are enough submission to enter the next round. When the deadline is reached, a rating poll will be set up. In another 3-5 days, the members in the top 3 will be the winners. 3rd place winner will get various extra privileges that ZetaBoards may have to offer. 2nd place winner will get their rank upped to Hacked Battle Contest Winner and privileges. 1st place will get the rank, privileges, and get to have their Navi appear in Episode 8 of my mini-series. One last thing you must consider if you plan to enter the contest is that if you win, I will need the .dmp file of the moveset you customized. To do this, simply click "Save" in the memory viewer and for address, input the address you used to get there, for example Bass's address, if you used it. Put it in parentheses in the file name just to be sure and make the size about 300. As always, your video must not be shown until the deadline. When you post your video also provide the .dmp file of your moveset just in case. That's about it. Again, any questions, ask now. There is plenty of time and it seems like everyone will like this contest. I hope there will be lots of participants. All Your entries You may submit here. You always may submit it, using a Redirect an Index page of TREZ. After submitting Your entry, an error will appear:

So we are supposed to do something similar to your Shadowman battle, am I right? But using a different Navi.

Inserting Navi sprite sheet Creating a moveset And the basic battle hacking which I'm sure everyone knows. For the moveset, I suggest you edit off of Bass. His data is easier to edit. So in your battles, pick any Navi, make the sprite show up (by telling it to load from where you put it; available in the mvoeset guide) and use the cheat to give the first enemy the Bass AI. 82034180 1301 Any more questions? |

I got the moveset part but what do you mean by various attacks? Edit: I forgot can I use a navi that is from BN4 and BN6 to fight? And do i have to fight as the excluded people or do i have to fight the people that are excluded. And do i have to make a scene? Edited by Agro, Dec 6 2008, 07:21 PM.

Those include the chip attacks. There's a bigger list of attacks on the last page that you may use. Those excluded may not be used at all. You may use Navis that don't fall in that category. No scene required. Besides, you would have to import more sprite data just to make it look natural. Edited by MegaRockEXE, Dec 6 2008, 07:42 PM.

dammit i wont be able to enter because i cant hack no more i would have joined but i guess maybe next time or if i can somehow manage to get enough posts i guess im gonna have to root for someone in this contest o.o |

You may recolor them, but it would be very ineffective on this. And of course you must fight them. My example is the Shadowman battle from my mini-series. Just a temporary import with different moves. |

Hey megarock..... Can i use the navi codes from bn5 and bn4 virus codes to navis? And where can i find their moveset? Edit: I also forgot, do i have to hack in MMBN6? Or do i have to hack in BN5 and BN4 Edited by Agro, Dec 7 2008, 09:28 AM.

This is all BN6 hacking. But you may use Navi codes if you wish. All you have to do is get their sprite sheet from their game. Import it into BN6 and get it to appear for another Navi. No, Shadowman may not be used. That's why he's excluded. Remember the 1st place winner gets their Navi to appear in my next episode. |

okay....... I get the sprite sheet i got that part. But how do i get it to appear as another navi? Where do i get the moveset Als from the navis from bn4 and 5? How do i find the sprite sheets?(i think i know how to do that:)) And what i meant with navi codes is that the values in bn5 and 4 hacking- Edit: Can i have a save file or gamesave from BN4 and BN5? You need to import the sprite, use the "Importing Premade Sprite Sheets" guide. You're not expected to import the AI from BN4/5, you are only attack hacking a navi that you will replace to give them new moves. Mega rock's Shadowman, as an example, he didn't give Shadowman his old attacks, but he gave him new ones. |
