I fixed it, but whenever I post it here it has the same problem. It works fine on photbucket, though.

Edit: I fixed it. Each frame has to be on a different layer, not just copying over the previous one. How do you get rid of the flash at the end?

I don't think that V. 2.4.5 can change the number of frames per second. It can change the delay between frames, though.

You use the magic wand or color select tool, click on the white part, then go to Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel, then hit delete. If yu see a checkered background then you did it right.

The closest thing you could do is use the free select tool and try to cut it exactly. Paint isn't that good use Photoshop if you have it. If you don't just use GIMP. It's way better then paint.

You actually don't need to use paint in the tutorial. Just paste the first sprite into a 100 X 100 or 150 X 150 image, hit shift+ctrl+n to make a new layer, and paste the next sprite in. Continue doing it for all of the sprites and save it to the setting shown in the tutorial and voila! You have an animation without using paint or Microsoft GIF Animator.

Edit: I take that back. You don't need GIF Animator, but you might want to use it: It gets rid of the blinking.

Edit 2: Or so I thought.
