I always thought something that looked like Prince Hydron, in Bakugan New Vestroia, but when wave changed, Mixes most of Zero's incarnations. That is supposed to be a sideways lowercase "U" on his chest.![]() I know the U looks like a four, but I'm bad at pixel art. |

Thanks for the advice. You're helping me left and right, not that I mind it. And here's Hydron, for reference.

Since we already have Acid Ace who is the closest thing to Zero in SF, you can probably add a stoic and jerkass personality in contrast Maverick/berserk status-maybe not so much but to the minimum Leadership-nah who needs leadership Anti-hero-Yes it is a must Rival-Maybe but just in case Moveset-Convert all of the weapons instead of just relying on the sword. Maybe the sword move set could be the reminiscent of Zero.EXE since we never got to see him post MMNT Personally you should make him more closer to MMZ in terms of personality than MMX. Also mix in the elements of Protoman EXE as well since he too is a Zero expy |

First, Acid Ace is closer to Classic Protoman, and second, I meant his APPEARANCE mixes most of Zero's incarnations. I always thought his personality would match a mixture of Megaman Zero and... Prince Hydron! He is the best after all, IMO. BTW, the hair in the back IS from ProtoMan.EXE.

Well if you can take a look closer, most of Acid Ace's actions and personality are a reminiscent of Zero. He contained almost all of Zero's aspects- good leader, brighter personality, berserk status, relationship with the main character, history with the antagonist, and using wide versatility of weapons with sword as his main. Of course he is similar to Classic Protoman because of Acid's origins, having a strong sense of justice, and his relationship with Megaman. However, Zero too is a Protoman expy despite being created by Dr Wily who is Bass' creator. Acid Ace went through a hell lot of trouble trying to fight evil and sacrificing himself in the end as much as Zero before his resurrection which Protoman did not. Plus Acid Ace did not oppose Megaman like Protoman did early in the series and there were times when he opposed him because he was going out of control due to finalization by Joker's doing. You said Protoman wasn't resurrected. He was. He was cut in two DANG pieces by King in Rockman and Forte! And nearly commited suicide so you could beat King! And Zero was a Maverick to begin with, it's stated in X4! And Hydron has this relaxed and cool personality. And Zero turned Sigma Maverick, not the other way around, as mentioned above. And Protoman was called Break Man originally. In RM3, he would fight Rockman while pretending to be an evil jerk. And Acid Ace's personality was obviously inspired by Giro from ZX. And he's also childish. And Hydron is a BOSS! Slightly paraprashed from episode 49 of Bakugan: New Vestroia: "Well then, if I really am the loser you think I am, Father, then it should be no problem for you to beat me." He has attitude. He put and end to his father's tyrannical reign in episode 51 by having Dryoid hold him in place as the Alternative blew up. He wasn't even worried he was about to die. That is epic. I'll get back with you. See ya.

Protoman has meme generation functionality, I see. He gets sliced in half and he just says "Heh, this is nothing! It's just a flesh wound." 100% god. What if you changed the navi to have orange streaks along the hair? My design sense is bad lol |

Well, that would probably go even more over the GBA's limit, and that would look weird, when compared with human form. EDIT: About the meme generation stuff, I was fighting Hurricaune in Megaman ZX, we both had 1 unit of health left, I slashed her, and she died. I then went to the transerver, and was fully healed. "You died and I got healed, lol." Edited by megaguy2222, Dec 4 2016, 11:59 AM.

I know I'm half a year late, but... *looks at Rogue, looks back at thread* Don't we... kind of already have a Zero analogue? Rival character what has a sword? Also... *looks at Zero.EXE, looks back at thread* Doesn't Zero kinda already exist in the network timeline? I figure such things should be factored in should we bring Zero into this era - I mean, it would be in character for Zero - in the robotics timeline, IIRC he's appeared in some way in every single series save Legends. We'd want to base the Zero of SF off of Zero.EXE, and do something to separate them from SFRockman and Rogue. Edited by WitchRolina, May 16 2017, 02:39 PM.

Actually, Rogue is more of a mixture of Protoman.EXE and Bass.EXE. |

Yes, and Protoman.EXE was a Zero Expy (when a Protoman and a Zero love each other very much...). That's kind of my point. We'd want to do something both mechanically and narratively to separate Zero from Rogue, while still feeling like he fits in. Personally, i like the idea of basing it off of elements from MMZ and MMZX. I like the idea of Zero being based around weapons and augmentation, rather than strength of solitude or power of friendship. Consider when this takes place - if we have a Giro expy from ZX be the person who fuses with Zero, then it opens up some interesting possibilities. In ZX, Reploids were notated by that red triangle thing, right? Well, Giro has one - and considering when SF takes place, it's safe to say that transhumanism has come a long way. As such, we could say that the Giro expy had lost limbs in an accident, but through the power of technology was basically able to walk again. Think Deus Ex, but less dreary and more anime. This means that it's not just modifying the Em being that helps out in battle, but Giro has the ability to have augments as well. The way I see it, this opens up the ability to essentially have the Head, Body, and Leg chips from the Zero series have a spiritual equivalent here. This, of course, assumes a playable Zero... but I think it's about time we see some other sides to the story. I'd love a choice between Megaman, Zero, and Rogue to have their own views on the story be expressed. ...Of course, there's always the option of having a Ciel expy for Zero instead, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't like the idea of a female playable character, but it's far easier to fit in a Giro expy in terms of narrative. The transumanism/self augmentation angle is just too good of an approach not to use. Edited by WitchRolina, May 19 2017, 03:29 PM.
